About Our Founder & CEO

Charmaine Jennings

Founder and CEO of Strategic Charm, Charmaine is a social media and marketing executive who helps businesses connect with dream clients and customers online.

Since 2016, Strategic Charm has been helping clients find their voice and define their message so they can confidently and strategically communicate their passion for their industry, the work they do and the value of their offers.

More about Charmaine

Over the years Charmaine and her team has worked with a variety of clients from clothing designers, to educational institutions, to realtors and every industry in between.

Charmaine holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Winnipeg, and a diploma in creative communications, specializing in public relations, from RRC Polytech. Her interest in marketing started when she was in the eighth grade and has grown into a deep passion over the years.

Charmaine is also the founder of Hustle + Charm – a community of women who come together for support in life, entrepreneurship and career growth. She believes more women are needed in business and high-earning positions, and is on a mission to help as many women as possible reach their next level of success.

In addition to the agency and her community, Charmaine also teaches digital marketing at The University of Winnipeg and enjoys helping students develop their marketing skills so they can land their dream jobs. She’s also a public speaker who has spoken at both local and international conferences like Adobe MAX, Alt Summit and The Social School.

Some of Charmaine’s most recent achievements include being nominated two years in a row of the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Manitoba, serving as an ambassador for Adobe Creative Cloud Express, and representing Canada as a delegate with Futurpreneur at the 2022 G20 Youth Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit in Hamburg, Germany.

Veronica Jennings

Administrative Assistant

Veronica brings her own passion for entrepreneurship, to Strategic Charm. In addition to ensuring our mailing lists are always up to date in MailChimp, Veronica helps manage Hustle + Charm’s members-only Facebook group, helps promote workshops and events, and stays on top of community memberships. ⁠Some fun facts about Veronica? She loves learning about e-commerce, electronics, thrifting, reselling, playing video games and crafts. Oh, and did we mention she’s Charmaine’s mom?

Amber Magus

Content Manager

A mum to one little wild child, Amber enjoys sharing social media tips for product based businesses and is currently learning how to custom code websites. Amber has found a recent love for gardening and can be spotted tending her crops during her spare time. She’s also a self taught herbalist who’s often formulating new herbal products or playing with dried plants. When not writing social media and email content for clients, Amber can be found with either an iced coffee in hand, or a glass of wine (depending on the time of day!)

Louise Serpa

Content Manager

Louise brings her passion of creating and cultivating community experiences, to Strategic Charm. Her passions lie in content creation; planning styled shoots, graphic design, and storytelling are some of her strongest skills. In addition to a skilled social media content creator who enjoys supporting a variety of clients, Louise is a mom of two and a big kid at heart, is a self-proclaimed crazy plant lady with over 100 plants, and is a graduate of both Red River College’s business management program, and The University of Winnipeg’s Public Relations program.

Sonia Stevens

Event Coordinator

Sonia joined the Strategic Charm team in 2023, specifically working as the event coordinator for our sister brand, Hustle + Charm. She’s passionate about supporting and empowering women, and enjoys opportunities to foster relationships and provide resources for Winnipeg women in business. She enjoys hot tea in the winter, tasty ice cream in the summer and spending time with family and friends.
